Hotel Sierra

The 164 room seven-story hotel is constructed of cast-in-place concrete with a metal stud/plaster facade supported by over 463 concrete piles. This challenging project required multiple teams, and the small lot left little room for parking or storage, so delivery of everything - equipment, materials and manpower - had to be staged at offsite locations. Unusually wet weather resulted in delays, economic difficulties forced the replacement of several of our subs and electrical limitations required use of additional generators to power the heavier equipment. Nonetheless, the project was completed on time and the owner has been delighted with our timing and workmanship.
