Adding a 92,600 sf level to an existing three-story structure located in the middle of a busy mall required exact planning. Floor framing is PT concrete beams with PT concrete floor slab and concrete columns. This is combined with shear walls and moment frames, cast-in-place spread footings and continuous footings and cast-in-place grade beams. MEP work included extending fire suppression system, plumbing/drainage system, relocating electrical room and new elevator. Striping for 900 existing and 299 new spaces completed the project.
